What did they change about printing that would make the OS not work with a label printer? It's printing small areas of text. It's the most basic thing a person could do on a computer and they screwed it up.

The software developers are responsible for updating their software to work with the new OS version. This is why developers can get a preview version of the OS update to see whether their software is compatible or needs updating.
