Notifications Preferences not Sticking

Since updating to OSX 10.10 Yosemite, I am unable to save any changes to the Notifications settings in System Preferences. After I log out or reboot, everything reverts back to default. I have tried deleting a number of plist files and repairing permissions, but nothing has solved the problem. Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks,

Aaron

The solution documented here worked for me too.

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) running 10.10.

I do not restart often so I thought I was going nuts each time Notification settings went back to default.

I wonder if this affects all 10.10 systems but nobody changes the notification center settings, folks just don't restart, or if there is something about my settings previously that brought out this bug? Seems like kind of a big bug if it is impacting all installs of Yosemite considering the number and frequency of notifications with the default settings.

I wonder this with a lot of widespread issues. I think the majority of users just say, uh, that's weird, and couldn't be bothered. Then on one like this that happens after a restart, you're right, many probably never do; just sleep their systems.

I'm still not clear on the issue precisely. Mine is just that the order of the widgets doesn't persist across restarts.
