After I installed Yosemite the mac freeze after sleep. I can use the mouse but I can't click anything.
The only thing I can do is to re-start the system.

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

Same issue here on a 2015 MacBook Air 11" with Yosemite 10.10.5...cannot reproduce it on a regular basis yet, but in the last 2 weeks it happened at least two time...When I wake up the MacBook from Sleep, the login screen shows up, but I'm not able to use the mouse (there is no cursor) or the keyboard, e.g. to focus the password field and enter my password. The only way to get it back working is an ugly hard reset via holding the "Turn on button" for several seconds...this needs to be fixed, hearing the same issue from other Mac users around...

On May of 15th 2016 I have the same issue like SenseiFtLauderdale.😕 So many months after installing some later update of Yosemite.

I remember this issue appeared on September last year for the first time. I hope the upgrade to El Capitan resolves it, but not.

Today I reseted SMC, but since issue appears randomly, I do not have the result of my action.

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013) with OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.4, so the issue is not connected just with Mac Mini, but also with another hardware.

2 dbl76: Have you already reported to Apple ? If so, what did they recommend you ?
