iCloud Photo Library Beta Resolution of Video/Photo

My understanding was that photos that were uploaded from my iOS device to iCloud Photo Library would be stored in iCloud at their original resolution. So far this does not appear to be the case as a video I shot with the back camera on my iPhone 5 (1920x1080) was uploaded to iCloud, but when I downloaded it to my computer using the web interface it would only download at 1280x720. Is this a restriction of the beta, or is this the way it is supposed to work? I cannot find any information on this. Thanks!

To day Photos Yosemite dowloads Photos AND Videos at original size at 200MBytes/s, its getting better

Original video 1080/60p 23.8Mb/s OK (edited with pinnacle studio at 60p 23.8Mb/s as iMovie does produce only 30p 5Mb/s)

Use Quicktime to show it, as VLC loses frames with such speed.

You can easy manage and download your 1920 1080 full resolution video: Select your video in Photos then Photos/File/Export/Export unmodified original....

You access by downloading your fullres video.
