There are not always two options when installing your printer. An AirPrint driver is available if the printer supports AirPrint. Here is a list of AirPrint supported printers: About AirPrint - Apple Support. Apple defaults to the AirPrint driver if the printer supports AirPrint. Telling users to switch to Epson from AirPrint only works if the printer supports AirPrint, it's not a universal solution. I understood your video, and it is helpful those who have AirPrint printers and want to switch to the manufacturer's driver. It's not helpful advice here because Kodak doesn't support AirPrint. (The Kodak problem is well understood, and it is a sandboxing issue that requires Kodak to release new drivers. It has nothing to do with AirPrint.)
Does that make sense?
I have had my method work on a few Kodak printers that people I know have had. Maybe it was some fluke then that made this method work for them. If I didn't think this method would work then I would not be posting it. I figure even if it doesn't work people might learn something from that failure.

You misunderstand. This method does work, and it is helpful to post, just for printers that support AirPrint also. I don't see how it could have worked for Kodak printers, unless there are AirPrint supported Kodak printers that aren't on the list.
What will people learn from "that failure?" Don't you think people are instead looking for a solution? Instead of having learned something and still having their printers not work?
Your video says to switch away from AirPrint to the manufacturer's driver. If the driver is not set to AirPrint, then what? Wouldn't the user see that as a waste of time?
