icloud photo library (beta) stuck uploading

Same issue here! First it was stuck uploading 50ish photos, then I switched iCloud photo library off and on, it then uploaded 2000ish photos. All was good...until it started again. stuck uploading 4 photos for days! Switched it off and back on, nothing. Switched it off, turned my phone off and on, then switched photo library on and it started upload 2000ish photos again. It seemed to work...until again, it's stuck uploading again. Very very vey annoying!!!! Please fix this.

Yup. Same boat for me. Stuck uploading 126 items from my iPhone with no apparent movement for days.

Same here - stuck on 529 - tried all the usual turn off, log off, etc.... Thing is - whilst photo stream still seems to be syncing across my ios devices - my pc isn't getting any updates on photos now either?

Please help Apple boys?

I have a (completely unjustified) theory that it might be related to un-recognised formats or corrupted files. As iCloud library beta only supports JPG (and Apple designated flavours of MP4?), maybe the uploader gets stuck when it encounters a file that doesn't fit it's nice narrow view of the world?

Of course even it it were the case, I'm still not sure how you'd track down which file it's becoming stuck on. But it seems to effect a small population in a repeatable manner with a consistent result - but not the bulk of the population - so I wonder if there's something that links our usage together. If only there were a disk utility for iOS to check for corrupted image files (maybe on jailbroken iPhones?). And if it's just because I have somehow managed to get a NEF file or a CMYK JPG in the library (cross device sync...), I should be able to spot and remove it?

I'll scan through my library tonight and see if I can find any obvious culprits that might be stopping the queue.

Heres how I roll.

I Shoot on either my iPhone 6 or my fujifilm Xt1.

I import my Fuji photos using the Cam Remote App as JPEG.

I edit using Rookie App or Rookie Extension.

Me too. Stuck at 118 items. I have a progress bar and it says Uploading 118 items, but no... It has uploaded 21 photos at some point though weeks ago.

SAme same for myself. Both iphone 6 and ipad Air 2 sruck on Icoud Lobrary Beta uploading pics for days now. No progress whatsoever. I see Apple are inconspicuous by their absence in this subject.....just silence on it and i know everyone here who have the same problem and getting no answers either!!

I Have had the same problem for weeks! None of my photos from my iphone5s are moving over to my iPad. iCloud sharing is enabled, and it just says 1,710 photos uploading.BUT THEY AREN'T!!!! I spent 3 hours chatting with Apple support, jumped through a lot of hoops, turned off this, synced that, etc. It worked for one day and then right back to where I was originally. What is the problem?!?!?

Hello everyone. I'm having the same issue as well. The phone says that it is uploading 136 items but is stuck on about an 1/8 of the way. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with this issue. One of many issues that I'm facing right now.

Hopefully Apple will figure out what is going on and get a fix to this issue.

Not only have i got this problem we all talk about with the Beta not uploading pics...but i also have a new iphone6 and all my albums from my ipad have appeared on it......but are all EMPTY!! It has synced my albums from my iPad but not the pics, it has the name if the albums nut all are blank with zero pics in them!!....ha ha...it's a joke, between this and the iCloud Beta uploading problem it's just hopeless really.

Exactly.....it's not the end of the world or anything but when i have paid over £1,000 for 2 Apple products i would expect them to work correctly....or is that too much to ask? :-)

It is just so annoying...now none of my pics taken on either device will sync with each other and still the Beta upload just sits there stuck each day and not doing anything.

Maybe that problem with my pics taken on iphone not syncing with my ipad is a different thing, i'm not sure but everything should sync as with my old iphone it all synced no problem...all ihad to do was have them on, connected to wi-fi and in seconds the pics taken on one device would appear on the other one....now i have it all turned on but nothing will sync....aarrgghhhhhh........

Anyway yes, this Beta thing....do Apple even read these complaints and problems or is this just a pointless waste of time even bothering to type this? ha ha Everyone i know has this problem now!!

Similar problem sounds like. I've not able to get the iCloud photo library to work from far day 1 pretty much. Says it's uploaded photos but have never been able to see them on the Web iCloud. And on my new 6 plus it has not downloaded the 'optimised' photos onto the device.

Very poor show by Apple. And hiding behind the beta label it would seem...

Yep, my iPhone 6 on 8.1 is stuck on uploading 848 photos. Very annoying.
