Popup on Safari that will not go away

Just make a copy of both files and rename them. Then delete and empty trash for each one in turn and try ro pull up Safari after each and see which one it may be. Might not be either. It is just supposition at the moment. Good luck.

Um, forgot to mention the obvios. When done, change the name or names if the remaing files back and out them back where you found them.

Simple, just make a copy of both files and move somewhere temporary, change the names. Then, delete one of the original files and empty trash, open up Safari, if it is fixed good, if not repeat with the next file and so on. If nothing works, re-name the copied files back to their original names and put back. This is all assuming it is one or more of those files, at this point it is all assumption, good luck.

Help. I called the number and they connected me to company called Computer FixIt and I very foolishly let them work on my computer remotely, for a high fee to fix problem. They say they are and their web site says they are Apple certified. Do I need to worry about what they have access too, or what they did to my computer. If so, what do I do next?

Easy fix for me:

1. Close Safari

2. Turn off wifi

3. Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data

This is simple;
1 force quit safari

2 place the safari icon on your doc

3 alt click safari open, if that doesn't work try command or control. I don't remember which one for certain how a pop message will ask if you want to open your session.

This worked for me, thanks! I had too google where my library folder was (definitely less of a techie!) but apart from that it was easy.

Om my IPAD it would lock-up when trying to open Safari and it would indicated to call a 877 number immediately. I tried everything, what fix it for me was,

I went to settings and went to Safari and stroll down to clear history and website date. After this it work and I was able to use my Safari.
