iPad Air 2 sound vibration

i just got my iPad Air 2 and the speaker vibrates whenever I play video or music even at low volume. Is this a common problem?

Hi.

First of all, sorry about my English, my ABC corrector is set for Portuguese.

I am from Brazil, at first I wouldn't come here, I was just reading the comments but I thought I could contribute before returning definitely my ipad to the store.

I bought it last week, knowing about the vibrations. But, like many people here who fell in the spider's web, I assumed the risk and got the ipad air 2, thinking the vibrations ranting were just an exaggeration coming from extra-perfectionist people. I became so amazed with the ipads performance, everything is so fluid, fast, theres not a single delay in anything you do, surfing the web is very pleasant. And the vibrations didnt bother me so much in the first day.

After using it for a couple days, the euphory of performance could not dampen the perceptive and constant vibration anymore. For those who havent experienced this yet, its like a phone in vibracall mode. The main problem is not the case, its the GLASS vibrating while you browse and type. Its constant and absolutely distracting. A very severe design flaw. Only the blind and very extremist fanatics really can not see this.

Out of this, the tablet is fantastic, comfortable, fast, fluid, the smart case is nice to touch and hold, etc.. etc...

IMPORTANT:

I downloaded a frequency generator to check what frequencies make the tablet vibrate (you find easily in the app store). Unfortunately, even high frequencies as high as a woman's voice indeed do make the tablet vibrate, but in a faster frequency, therefore a little less noticeable. So, I suggest people stop the quest to find the holy grail here, because it is a physical problem.

For those who say this vibration is intentional or a trade off for thinness, I fell sorry for you, because there are thinner tablets out there that do not vibrate, I wont mention brands for ethics reasons.

Good luck for us.

I bought a new iPad Air 2 Wifi in Germany at Media Markt. Installing my backup (from my old iPad 4) and starting one of my favorite games, I thought I was going mad! The display was vibrating on the right side in landscape mode (this side, the speaker-slots are).

So I called the Apple Service telephone number and complained about it!

The operator was surprised about this problem and booked me my "Genius Bar appointment" in an Apple Store in town next week.

So I will show these problems there and hope for a solution or a new device!

I think we all NEED to complain about these vibration problems, to let Apple know, that it is not OK to sell such scrap!

They can do so, if it would be half the price!
