iPad Air 2 sound vibration

i just got my iPad Air 2 and the speaker vibrates whenever I play video or music even at low volume. Is this a common problem?

I only bought mine a few days ago and I felt I was going to break it, felt so flimsy, then when my fingers were vibrating when playing movies or listening to music that is when I came here, all I can say is it is now, back to factory default and all packed up ready to go back to John Lewis's store tomorrow.

Thank goodness I still had my iPad 3, oh what a joy to use, this is how Apple used to make there products, I do not care it weighs over 1 ton, because it works and no more vibrating fingers.

I cannot believe that Apple allowed this to get past testing and into there stores, it seems to me this is a case of "Mine is thinner then yours".

My iPad Air 2 has the same sound vibration problem, and I resonate the feelings reported by other apple users. It is shocking that this as well as the ghosting issue managed to pass quality control. I agree when others say the company is going downhill since the demise of Mr Jobs.

Unfortunately I am in a position where I purchased the product from PC world that do not offer a money back guarantee if the product is opened and used. I have also exceeded 30 days. I wonder if I can exchange the Air 2 for an Air at the apple store along with a credit note. That may however just be wishful thinking!

I have the same issue on my newly purchased IPad Air 2 as well, very annoying.

Why not Apple just turn down the bass level to 0 or negative when using internal speaker to reduce vibration, and resume the bass level when earphone is plugged, I think this is the best and the only way to reduce vibration on IPad Air 2 by updating their IOS.

We don't really care about how good of the bass on internal speaker because it is soooo lousy, if so why not just eliminate the bass on internal speaker , reduce distortion and vibration, then all of us will be happy.

Setting the bass level in Music setting to bass reducer does a little job, but it is still not good enough to remove vibration. We need something to lower the bass than that and automatically resumes with earphone plugged.

The vibrations are definitely annoying. I decided to keep my iPad Air 2 because I like everything else about it, but I'm really hoping that Apple fixes this for the next model. I ended up buying a cheap Bluetooth speaker, so I try to use that instead of the internal speakers. Certainly this was the price to pay for making the tablet so thin and light. On the other hand, I play sound from my iPhone all the time and don't have this problem.

Not sure if my problem is exactly the same as described in this thread, but when I plug in the headphones the vibration does not stop. It is still there and causes a humming sound to headphones as well. If I squeeze the back panel with my hand, the vibration stops and also the humming in the headphones ends. My device is now around six months old and this behavior was not there in the beginning, so maybe something is broken. Not acceptable anyway so have to visit the retailer.
