iPad Air 2 WiFi Issues

I'm having WiFi connectivity issues on my new iPad Air 2 (WiFi only). I'm having to turn WiFi off and on to reset my connection. Restarting and restoring hasn't fixed the issue.

I like the sarcasm Ken and thanks for pointing out the link to Forbes.com I'm surprised of all of the responses in this thread, that they quoted me.

I haven't had any issues after this new update. To those that do have issues, do a Network Reset in Settings of your iOS device. Your device will reboot and try to log onto your router again. If you're still having issues, avoid using the 801.11n mode of your router and use the slower a/b/g modes until a fix. Consult your router manual or manufacturer website.

Other punitive option is is to upgrade to one of the new 801.11ac routers.

So my awesome brother just bought me a 64gb iPad Air 2 (today, 11/22/2014) and right out of the box it's had WiFi issues. At first I thought it was the router, but then I realized that none of the other devices in the house (iphone 5 (iOS 7), Galaxy S4 and S5, Lumia, mom's iPad 3 (iOS 5) , four windows computers) have no wifi issues, and the router is less than two years old. The iphone and both iPads show the same up and down speeds, but only the iPad Air 2 is having issues. Spent 12 hours trying to resolve this issue, I'm done. I'm not buying a new router or tweeking any more settings. That is absolutely ridiculous.

FIXED IT,!!!

Like many here I had a brand new boat anchor of an iPad air 2 re: wi fi problems. Every single tip, trick, suggestion- you name it I tried to no avail. I have a new ipad air 2 and just bought a brand new airport extreme router and use a late 2012 mini mac computer. Cut to the chase.... On my airport extreme router I set up a guest network which works FLAWLESSLY and is SUPER FAST! All of the previous wif issues are gone now. Previously I tried different dns servers, different channels on the router, hard resets, reset network settings, forget this network, even wiped the ipad air 2 back to factory settings and nothing helped one bit! As an aside I always set my ipads up as new and not from backup.

I'm not touching anything now since it works like a dream over the "guest network" set up on my airport in extreme. I've lost sleep and countless hours, fruitless calls with Apple, and tried every single trick and tip and some I even invented. Nothing, and I mean nothing helped and as soon as I logged into my ipad air 2 on the "guest network" eveything is EXACTLY like what you wish for. It's been hours and so far so good. if anything changes I'll keep y'all posted but so far this is the furthest and best results of all.

Try setting up a guest betwork on your router and use that. If it works for you, you will know immediately. Now I'll be scared in the morning to try it again but for the moment I verything is as it should be and then some.,

I hope this helps someone out, it's an easy thing to try :-)
