iPad air 2 pop noise

My iPad Air 2 randomly has a "Pop Noise" out of the speaker. it happens randomly about once or twice a day when touching the screen or pressing a button. Has anybody else experienced this issue? Could it be a software issue or has it more likely to do with the hardware?

Your link don't work for me...says it's not found. I think the problem may still exist cause my first 3 iPad air 2 came from Best Buy...this last one I had gone to a 3rd party apple store and it was shipped to them. The first 3 I had to update the software...this last one i did not. The 1st 3 all did the popping almost daily...this last one went 5 days before it popped. now its popped about 4 times.User uploaded file

this is one thing it did after a pop. Keyboard game out the side and the box to log into the App Store is off the top only showing the cancel and ok button which pushing either did nothing. had to reset iPad to fix it.

As told in my earlier contribution here, it is not a hardware problem. I had a lot of pop noises and finally no sound at all. After a long call with Apple support I could send it to their repair center. They tested it and all was fine, sound back due to reset to factory settings. Once back I installed it again from the backup and had still sound. Then I did put the SIM card into it and sound was gone, instead again and the only sound those pop noises. Did I take the card out sound was back and no pop noises. After the support got again onto my iPad Air 2 they found in the logs that many things are not working as should. They told me it's all a software issue. That I must reset it again and install all fresh, they told me not from the backup or I will have the problem back. So I did install it fresh, downloaded all Apps again and since then I have perfect sound also with my SIM card and never a pop noise again.

So, this shows, there went surely something wrong with the backup and if you restore the backup you will have the pop sounds over and over again.

Fridu you bring what confused here . Your problem is a special but not to be discussed here generally I think. Yes, your problem has been solved by a Fresh Istall . If I had tried so immediately in your place. But in general , the problem does not solve through a Clean Install. I have changed my device 3 times and wanted to give up .

None was re manufactured from a backup!

Now I have a flawless device!

The hardware components used in the Ipad are manufactured by different companies. And somewhere the fault must lie. Many have said here and they are right!!

Displayed in this video you can see a freshly restored Air Ipad 2 with pop . Established as a new Ipad without backup.

I Got my 3rd from Best Buy...went across the street to Starbucks had a mocha and played with it right out of the box....POP! Last night I opened up my 4th one and all I did was touch the screen didn't open any app....POP! I fine that hard to believe it's software causing the pop. Also don't you think Apple would post the real fix somewhere so people will stop taking them back. They probably aren't saying anything cause they'd be returned like crazy.

Well to be sincere who knows i mean some Apple guys still deny this issue, a few have accepted it but when they tell you: Learn to leave with it....

IMO it can't be fixed via software but i'm not an expert maybe ios 8.2 will get rid of it forever, released next week...if that update doesn't get rid of it it would be definitely a hardware issue.
