iPhone 5c Screen Popped Out?

Recently I had dropped my phone. The left upper corner popped out, and there is no other damage besides that. I looked up online if that has happened with other iPhone 5c users, and it has. The same thing has happened to a lot of people. The screen did not crack, there are no scratches, and I was wondering if I could get someone to fix it for me. I can't just pop it back in, risking breaking it. I was wondering if you could fix this if I brought it into the Omaha Apple Store in Village Pointe, and how much it would be, or if it could be free. All that I believe needs to be done is a screen re-adjusting. I say I shouldn't have to pay for it since there is no real damage. Please reply so I can get this over with before I get any damage.

Hey guys. I dropped mine this morning. FREAKED out because it's usually in a case but it wasn't today. Picked it up and started using, thankful it was ok, I hadn't noticed anything till I put my phone down and noticed the side was raised. I have a glass screen protector on my phone (which didn't even crack) but protected the actual screen. I realised the screen had moved and followed your advice. I wouldn't recommend it, becauase I had to place more pressure onto the back that I was comfortable with in order to pop it back in... However, I am relieved that it's fixed! If you're going to place it on a hard surface use a paper towel or something (Which is what I did) to protect the front and push. You'll hear quite a loud click noise, don't freak out... It'll be ok! I was going to have to take it into Apple tonight and probably spend a fortune just for that.

So just to update on this.

Pressing down on the screen and popping it back in can do damage to the left third of the screen. It applies a rainbow vertical streak to the screen which is serious damage.

This can also happen when the Battery becomes Swollen. Usually the batteries swell and become damaged when they are charging and get very hot.

Just keep in mind that most Apple Providers know about these issues and what to do, and places that sell Apple products probably don't know what to do and will make you pay for them to send it away to a Apple Provider. So best to go to your nearest Apple Provider and they should help you out. This is not a fault of the user and it should not cost you to get it repaired. Either it will be fixed properly with the tools from Apple or completely replaced.

In cases that it is replaced due to battery, it is because if the battery bursts it can leak harmful chemicals.

Hope this helps! Have a great day.
