Yosemite Finder bug, folders get unresponsive in icon view

I recently bought mid 2014 Retina Macbook Pro (13 inch) and immediately installed OS X Yosemite. I've noticed that, when I sometimes open Finder, I can't see i.e. my Applications in Applications folder in icon view. It shows me empty directory but when I switch to the list view it's all working.

Sometimes sleep/wake operation helps to repair that problem but not always. Just Finder gets unresponsive.

Is there any solution for this problem?

Just in case you missed something, here's a collection of things to try:

1. Trash the Finder Prerfeences (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist) and restart Finder

2. Trash the Finder cache (~/Library/Caches/com.apple.finder - the entire folder) and restart Finder

3. Rebuild Spotlight indexes - System Preferences, Spotlight, Privacy - drag all disks from the Finder into the Privacy pane. Exist SysPref, then go back and remove all disks from the Privacy pane - this forces Spotlght to reindex

4. Repair Permissions (Disk Utility)

5. Clear out any temporary files, caches etc and restart the Mac. For me, the easiest way to do this is to use Onyx from Titanium Software - it's free and reliable

I hope one of these helps

Doing a "me too." I have a one week old brand new iMac 5k and I've tried reinstalling yosemite, removing programs, etc., nothing has worked. Did a 45 minute chat with apple twice tonight. First person said to just exchange the computer ⚠. Second one spent a lot of time trying to look at it but nothing. Also find that files are missing but also that files have black marks when they do show. They want me to talk with a sr advisor and i've been on hold for 30 minutes now to do that.User uploaded file
