iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8
Same thing happened to me today for the first time. I was browsing on the current up to date version of Instagram and the phone flashed blue for a second and then rebooted. I've had the phone for a month and a half and am on 8.1. I'm using a sprint white 16 gb iPhone 6 plus and my phone shows 2.9gb of available memory left in the usage settings.
Hi,
Had this issue today on my iPhone 6 plus (128GB) while browsing photo on "Meetup" app. The screen went blue and the phone restarted with apple logo. I have 94GB free storage space still remaining. This is the first time this happened and the phone is 2 weeks old.
Cheers
Sid.
I got the same thing. I have an iPhone 6 Plus 64GB with still 32GB of available free space. The phone is on iOS 8.1.1 and only 1 day old and while browsing in Safari the phone's screen went completely blue and rebooted.
I Was watching YouTube (in Safari) on my iPhone 6 16gb 8.1.1 then it flashed a mixture on blue, black and a green line on the screen before it reboote. Weird
i have same this problem every second reboot but red screen 😕 i can't use my iphone . its iphone 6 plus ios 8.1.2 😢 i bought it before 2 weeks
can anyone tell me how to fix this problem plz ?
I have been using apple phones since the iphone 4, this never happened to me. In the past 3 months i bought a 6+ 64GB and this issue started happening after the iOS 8 update, i cant have support in my country and dont know what to do... Hope they release a new update to fix this soon.
I just had this happen to me but after the blue screen I did a hard reset my phone went completely dead. A new phone is in the mail.
and the so called new phone was refurbished, it lasted about 20 minutes before it started to crash.
it's a bad battery connection, i had it because i accidentally dropped it, and i saw that the screw in the battery holder plate is lose a bit, and when i opened it, i can see that the battery connector is lose too, but not completely detach..... i reconnected it and tight the screw on the plate...... done.
red screen is overheat...... try to make an appointment with the apple. it happens to me once, i put my iP6+ on my car dashboard in broad day light...... it wont turn on normaly and keep crashing red screen several time until it cold and i never put it on my dashboard again.
mother of crashes I guess
All jokes aside, I got this phone four days ago, and I experienced this. And my software is up to date. Should I be scared ?
(iPhone 6 Plus, 64gb, iOS 8.3 if needed)
I've had my 6 since release day. No problems until today, when it's (so far, since lunch) crashed three times.
The first time, it was in my pocket. (TouchID was disabled because it had rebooted.)
The next two times, I was using OmniFocus and the phone. Those were within 10 minutes of each other.
The blue screen and reboot just happened to me. Now my 6+ is in a magnification mode that is nearly impossible to navigate. I hope I can get into the settings soon to fix this issue. I bought my 6+ in early November and it's up to date, this is my first major issue with it.
I just had a fourth blue screen crash (within three hours of the first), again while using OmniFocus this time. I'm going to loop them into this and see if they have a solution that might be applicable to everyone else.
Aaand it just crashed in my pocket. This is really concerning me.
