itunes 12 track names not found and user not registered for online use

Mood, Can you specify the steps you took to solve this problem? In the course of all the discussion, I am not sure which of Turing's suggestions was the one that did the trick. ~ Jack

I had the same problem. I tried a few of the listed fixes and the one that worked for me was

1. close itunes.

2. deleting all of contents of C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer

3. Restart itunes

Good luck.

Having this same issue but on a mac. Any solutions for a mac user?

Running Windows 7 and Chrome with same problem. I could not delete the entire Roaming--> "Apple Computer" folder because I got an error message that one or more files was in use. I had already closed iTunes so looked for any Apple processes running and suspended them. Still would not show track titles and got error message. Then I decided to delete ONLY the iTunes set of folders within the main folder. Started iTunes and it worked-- all the track titles are back and no error messages.I then released the suspension on all my Apple processes.

I'm having the same problems and have tried those solutions but they didn't work.

Have you tried Frank's suggestion above?

This problem has been driving me crazy for weeks.

I've been hand-typing in everything and tonight I'm loading up a double-CD 😟

I tried all of the other solutions but none of them worked (thanks for them though).....

Press the WinLogoKey+R

Type in %appdata% and press return

Double click on Apple Computer

Double click on iTunes

Delete the file CD Info.cidb

The first two lines will get you to the location C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming. You can browse up a level to get access to Local or LocalLow.

Me too, on my Mac. I am not clear on the solution to fix this issue for Mac OS X (Yosemite) and iTunes 12x.
