iTunes 12.0.1.26 on Mac won't sync with my IOS devices

I can't sync any of my IOS devices with iTunes 12.0.1.26 on Mac. I have an iPhone 6 64gb (IOS8.1) and iPad 1 (IOS 5.1.1) every time i connect my devices through USB cable my iTunes stops working and I have to force close the application. I have reset my iPhone, I have uninstalled and re-installed iTunes and reinstalled Yosemite on my mac.


Does anyone know a fix or having the same problem?

I managed to get the reset through on terminal and I also reenabled the music sync setting on my iPhone. Still: no sync. I downloaded two songs form iTunes to my Mac yesterday, placed them in the same playlist and the sync started automatically when I connected the iPhone. When that failed I clicked for sync twice. No syncing. This time not even the songs where synced (no sign of them on the iPhone), not to speak of the playlist updates.

I Too am having a problem with my iTunes account. For whatever reason my iTunes won't let me log into my icloud account or show me any of my song purchases. When I open itunes to view them and I click on purchased, it's just a no go. Nothing shows up, and all I wanted to do is update my iTunes library on my Mac. Ibe already updated to iOS Yosemite and updated my iTunes to the latest version including downloading it straight from the apple website. Please help!

As a sidenote, the terminal fix works exactly once. I have to do it every time I want to synch another device, or if I want to sync the same device twice. The second time I try it, it gives me, "Do you trust this computer" on the device, I say, "yes", iTunes spins the beachball for a while and then says, "this device is no longer connected." Then have to do the terminal fix (stated above) again.
