mail organize by conversation mixup

I found there have mixup of over hundred by the organise by conversation function. Could I really organise those and fix the one that not belong to the conversation?

Or where I could setup for the rules that belongs on the same conversation or not?

I also have the same problem. Completely different subject lines grouping into one conversation. Upgraded to Yosemite a week or so ago. Not sure how many other conversations have been incorrectly grouped but just noticed one today. I cannot figure out how to get them separated so I guess I will need to write these conversations down to know where to find them. Manual work that a simple computer should be able to handle for me.

I'm seeing this as well, but with a gmail account.

To be clear: mail is grouping messages that have completely different subjects together under the same conversation in my inbox.

Another thread Mail: Organize By Conversation - wrong emails suggested turning off "include related messages" but that didn't help me.

This is clearly a bug in their algorithm for figuring out what messages should be grouped by conversation.

I'm seeing this as well with a gmail account. Apple Mail 8.0, OS X 10.10.

To be clear: mail is grouping messages that have completely different subjects together under the same conversation in my inbox. This is very problematic as I'm working on several different projects that are now all in one "conversation." When trying to file the individual emails in different folders, they still list all the unrelated emails in the "conversation" regardless of trying to separate them by file. This really hurts the workflow. "Conversations" has pretty much ruined Apple Mail for me.

I have exactly the same problem, which makes using the Mail virtually impossible. It stacks together totally irrelevant conversations - not same senders, not same subjects - totally irrelevant. I actually think this is a bug of Yosemite, nothing to do with settings. I use OS X Yosemite 10.10 in a MacBook Pro Retina (Mid 2012).

If anyone has come up with a solution, please share. Otherwise, Apple please fix this. Just the money I have given you over the years could finance hiring a private jet, getting their Worlds best software developer there and paying him a day´s salary to find a solution for this.

Apple just released an update to Yosemite. Of course I was all excited that they would fix this horrible bug in Mail. But, nope. Not fixed!! I can't believe more people are not complaining about this. It's such an egregious mistake. I feel like Apple took 5 steps backward with this new Mail release. I've been the most diehard Apple fan for 20 years when I started using their computers at 8 years old. And I have never used anything else as my primary computer. But for the first time ever, with Yosemite and iOS 8, I'm really second-guessing Apple. There are so many bugs, it's ridiculous. In Finder, in Safari, in Handoff, in Mail. It's truly amateur. Total Microsoft level.

What ever happened to "IT JUST WORKS" !!!??!?!?!

I have a similar problem. Since upgrading to Yosemite.

The search will return dozens of emails that are totally unrelated.

Same thing for me. Also, Mail sometime can't group messages with the same object.

I have only upgrade one machine and the other one still running at 10.9.5 and the mail work great. So it should be the bug for the 10.10

I have try to rebuilt the mailbox after apple have release any upgrade but still not yet work...

The only thing I could do right now to be keep the other one at 10.9.5 and working on the email and the 10.10 one to be received the backup mail and keep monitoring when the problem to be solve then I could upgrade the remain unit...

Apple Mail 8.1 Conversations nesting, under OS X 10.10.1 is a complete travesty. It has made Mail usage for projects a complete failure. It would be best if there was some way to disable it since it is just making a complete mess of trying to do any project control through this email program. Too bad. It was so good for so many years.
