Yosemite Calendar keeps modifying outlook events on my calendar and sending out invites to participants even though I have not changed the event in any way. Anyone know if there is a setting that I can change to fix this issue?
It's a nickname with a long backstory related to Bock beers and a play on my last name.
It's funny. I've been in the Networking space for a long time and didn't know about the Bock-Bock/Cisco connection.
Just an update here:
Re-enabled Mail and Calendar for my corporate Exchange account on my Mac running 10.10.5.
After a couple days of no problems, just exhibited same problem again for a meeting when I hit the "snooze" button on the reminder.
Back to Outlook...
Just happened to me again so guess it is not fixed. Precisely at 2PM I sent out 2 invites.
I had 2 meetings today and neither of them exhibited the issue so must be a select set of circumstances.
Has anyone tried El Capitan? I'd hate to upgrade and find that the issue has resurfaced.
Hey guys, maybe I've found workaround for this problem.
I'm on El Capitan for now but I think that it could be fixed in the same way for older versions.
I've fixed this with two steps:
1. Go to Settings → Internet Accounts → Exchange and turn off Reminders checkbox
2. Go to Mail.app — Preferences → General and set «Add invitations to Calendar» to «Never»
