iPhone 6 clicking noise coming from home button and also a little loose..anyone else have this issue or suggestions on how to handle it? Any and all suggestions are appreciated

It seems as if when I push my home button there is a loud click or a clicking noise that shouldn't be there. If I push the home button in certain areas or kind of on the side it's not so bad. Also it seems as if the button is kind of loose or wiggles a little bit and can also feel the little silver ring and seems as if it's either not on properly or the home button is sunken in pretty good. I was at the Apple Store and checked out some display models and didn't notice it on those and they all felt solid. Has anyone else had this issue or experienced this? Any and all suggestions will help greatly...I just want to know if it's normal or how I should go about taking care of it...thanks!

home button clicking sounds may vary per device. I have four iPhone 6 in my family and all have different sound and click feel. This is normal.. I think you are going in way more deep..

My iPhone has normal click

My sis iPhone makes a loud click sound but feels softer

Other two iPhones have loud click noise and kind of stiff

Don't worry, all this is normal. It is not a perfect world and there is no perfect iPhone 6 out there

If you are worried about it, take it into Apple and have them look at it for you. Be sure to make an iCloud or iTunes backup of your device before you go in. Don't take it anywhere but to Apple if that is an option.

Its because your home button is loose. You probably got your screen repaired or took it to a shop right? and they probably didnt

put the screws back on tightly because people are afraid to damage the chips.

or maybe the screws just loosened on their own. All you have to do is take the 2 screws off the bottom to open the phone

and then tighten the 2 screws that hold down the home button Or just tell a phone repair guy to tighten your home button screws

im sure he would just do it right away for you.

Not good advice to be giving someone unless you also tell them that doing what you suggested also voids the warranty....

So it's normal for the home button to become a little stiff and the clicking sound becomes audible after usage? As it wasn't like that when I first bought it. Also, this is my first Apple device, so I'm fairly worried.

If you are concerned about the behavior of your Home button, then your best bet is to take it to the Apple Store so they can take a look at it. Be sure to make a backup of the device on iCloud or iTunes before visiting the store.
