This forum has been going on now, for quite some time. I have read through many of the issues, complaints, and suggested fixes, but still cannot come to any solid conclusion of what is causing the reset to login screens issue. I too, wiped my disk, loaded Mavericks, upgraded to Yosemite and then to 10.10.2. This fixed my problem. Have been running without interruption now for several weeks. There is no question in my mind, that is was Yosemite that created the problem in the beginning, and it is something in the install process that either fails, or changes on each iterative, installation. I would really like for Apple to admit to this problem and tell us the root cause, and/or what in the final release of 10.10.2 fixed it. It's not right that they keep us so frustrated and that we deserve to know it was not anything we were doing, so we can finally put this issue to rest.
BTW, there is still something wrong with WiFi (or maybe Safari) as I often have it hang or just stop working way too often. This is not new technology, and it is mature enough now, that no browser or WiFi connection should ever just stop working. As an Apple user it is embarrassing that our Safari browser is not the fastest, most advanced, and most reliable browser made today. As much technical savvy, time and money Apple has invested, it should be.
