When I open Safari I am getting the following message: Safari - Alert Suspicious Activity Might Have been Detected. Major Security Issue To fix it please call Support for Apple +1 800-680-4131 (Toll Free) immediately! and they ask $150 to talk to you. How do you handle that?

Roger, thanks for the advice but now I find myself being a risk. how do I go about erasing and reinstalling my system. I have copied all my files to an external hard drive.

For iPad/iPhone users, go to settings > Safari > clear history & website data. Worked like a charm!
