siri speaks on my iPhone 6 Plus without asking a question

On a few occasions now, Siri has spoken when I am no where near the phone. Just now when I was all the way across the room she said, "I can't answer that, Georgia". My name isn't Georgia and I wasn't even touching the phone. This has happened a couple of other times, too. Each time I had the phone plugged in to charge and was no where near it. Any ideas?

😁 😕 😁 😕

I just had this happen to me for the 1st time! Kinda freaked me out until I found out it's pretty common.

My iPhone 5s is charging up on the other side of the room. I'm watching a video on my computer and all of a sudden, silly 😝 Siri decides to give me the definition of the word "her". So odd since no one asked her anything and she's never done this before, considering all the circumstances where it could be happening, such as in the car. I mean, my phone is often on the charger when I have a radio on or I'm watching a video and she's never just randomly spoken up.

Siri has been giving me a lot of trouble lately, ever since updating to ios 10.0.2. Now, she often misunderstands me, especially when I ask her to call or text someone in my Contacts list. Sometimes I get so frustrated with her, and then I have to do whatever manually. She's a piece of work, that's for sure!
