I can't seem to find a place to uncheck Mail within the calendar. Can you please give specific instructions? This is driving me nuts! Thanks!
I Had the same problem. I went to Settings, mail, calendar and deleted the Google calendar.
I'm glad you figured it out!
For anyone still having this problem,I fixed it by:
1. Going to my contact in the contacts app (the one with my name, needless to say)
2. Entering my email into my contact
3. Going to the mail app
4. Clicking my email address wherever it was displayed as "Holidays in United States" in any email or by typing it out in a new email. There is also a little drop arrow you can click.
6. Clicking "show contact card"
7. Deleting that contact card
8. Restarting my mac
I hope this helps!
I fixed it! Go to your iCalendars and check the list of calendars google provides. One of them is Holidays. Delete that and your iMail will be okay
I found a super easy way to fix this when using your iPhone. Go under contacts, then your name and edit your contact. Add your email address and save. The issue should then be solved
This worked perfectly for me. Thanks, I could not figure this out at all but figured it was google related.
I went into my Calendar, went to the Google Account, and unchecked Calendars on my Google Account. That seemed to work for me.
Clearly written and easy to understand this should be on top of the page..
Hi,
Older posts only come back to the top as it were when people post to them again before they are Archived.
A thread being Archived varies from Community to Community based somewhat on how busy that area is.
The Posts of a Useful answer can, if they have gained enough points to have the privilege to do so, can create a User Tip.
Users Tips can be tagged fro the sub sections that a Community has - Using Mavericks, Mail, Messages, Networking and so on:-
I have a link that filters the Community by iMessages and Messages (the account and the App in that order)
There are two Users tips connected to this.
The Mail et al section has one.
This thread has been tagged with at least iMessage/Messages and may not have been tagged for Mail.
EDIT.
When I posted It did pop to the top of the Mail et al list which probably means the thread is tagged with all the options.
They are viewable when you create a New Thread and used to be seen by everyone at one stage with previous versions of the software used to run these Discussions.
