I need to disable to microphone recording thing on imessage, sent recordings to people by accident twice now with near disastrous results!

Turning on or off the 'Raise to Listen' does not help. But I turned on the Group messaging and click on the 'learn more' under iMessage and it disappeared. What a nuisance that was!

Why? What good does it do?

The timing bar for this feature covers over the message area so you can't see what you are writing. This is not helpful!

Disable imessge.

I disabled I Messaging and the microphone is gone.

I went into settings audio disable microphone and face time

I also hate this dumb "feature" and have sent audio by accident many times. If I want to send audio I call. Duh.

I guess I won't be using imessage anymore.
