Yosemite 10.10.1 update did not fix my wifi issue, did it fix yours??

The discussion about wifi issues is nothing new since Yosemite came out. Today I installed the latest update (10.10.1) which was to help with wifi issues such as your wifi dropping. I have tried every remedy that has been posted and nothing has worked. I constantly have to re-connect to my wifi network while on my computer. I guess I will sit patiently until this is resolved. I was excited to see the new update but after downloading and installing it, I see that nothing has changed. I have an iMac (2013) and have never had internet issues until I installed Yosemite. I hope the update helps you but it didn't help me.

See the thread at Yosemite 10.10.2 update stability issues on Mac Mini.

That just convinced me that I should ignore this upgrade altogether. As I wrote in a reply there, finally my systems on my iMac desktop from about 2007 and my MacBook Air from about 2011 were fixed, seemingly all by itself, but only after about a month of nightmare, or even longer. I'm not willing to start that nightmare all over again! I wish there were a way to convey this utter frustration to Apple about these upgrades! I cannot trust them anymore, and I started with Macs in 1984 and loved them until now. Seriously!!!

I have loaded 10.10.2 and it still did NOT fix the wifi problem with Safari. Firefox seems to work OK so the problem seems to be with Safari.

2/4/15---- Still doesn't work.

I started with an Apple II+ in 1980 and have owned all the Apple II versions and when they went out of date switched to Mac. Over the years I have owned many different versions of the Mac and have never had the frustration I have now. I wish I had stuck with 10.9. It is too late to go back because of the magnitude of apps and data I would have to replicate. It was bad enough transferring bookmarks and passwords to Firefox so I at least have a browser that will work now.

At least with 10.10.2 all my apps except Safari seem to be working.

I currently use two Macbook pros (17 in. early 2011) and one Mac mini.

THey asked if I would participate in seed / beta testing and I said Yes. I received a seed/ beta testing invite. They responded to various feedbacks, wifi diagnostics etc

why are you asking? I DO understand that these discussions are essentially peer to peer but do you really think any business could affird to ignore the anguish of its customers expressed here? And I think I can understand why the Big Points have been largely absent from this thread other than to criticise other participants. How much of the main 10.10 glitches discussions have you read?
