Can't resize Excel spreadsheet

I have an Excel spreadsheet that I can't resize because it extends beyond the bottom of the screen. Same spreadsheet works on my secretary's iMac and we are running the same OS 10.10.

The resize button is no help because that causes the computer to go into full screen mode and then the resize box at the bottom right corner is not there. I have had this problem before but usually if I hide the dock or move it I can get to the resize box.

Any ideas. It seems that there are a number of problems after upgrading to Yosemite.

On the Menu, to to Window, click on Arrange and then select either Tiled or Horizontal. That resizes it to fit the screen.

This worked really well -- thanks all.

The reason why it seems to happen is that people who have gigantic screens create spreadsheets, but when you display them on laptop proportioned screens the bottoms end up being cut off from view.

It is really a bug in Excel that it does not automatically resize a spreadsheet to fit the size of the screen that it is displayed on.

Never give a developer or a Quality Assurance Tester a full size screen would be the take-away lesson on this one. ;-)

Simplest solution:
In the Excel menu bar pulldown, select "zoom" under the "Window" header...
Regardless of where your open file is on the desktop, it will automatically resize to fit your entire screen (below the menu bar)... with the exception that - using THIS method - the entire open document fits within the screen.... including the anchor in the far right lower corner that allows you to place you cursor on it and resize to the desired aspect, as you normally would with any window!

A simpler way is to drag t Excel window down by clicking the top grey window bar. Then you can resize by dragging the top edge of the window.

But this problem only arose with Yosemite so I think its a typically complacent Apple position that it's down to an Excel bug. About time Apple put resources into what its users actually need rather than poorly redesigning iTunes to make it less usable.

I have exactly the same problem with Excel window size and Citiboy's Zoom Window solution works well. HOWEVER, when I try to SAVE my worksheet the banner presented is too big for my screen and I cannot see the OK or CANCEL buttons (or whatever they might be). Fortunately, RETURN works for Save and ESCAPE does the cancel. I have spoken to MicroSoft Support and they say "Delete and re-install MS-Office 2011". Am reluctant to do that, but wonder what the real conflict is between Yosemite and Excel (there is no problem with Word)?
