ios 8.1.1 wifi problems

I have installed ios 8.1.1 on my iphone 6.

The iphone still looses wifi connectivity from time to time. If I enable and disable flight mode wifi is working again.

I already tried to reset the network settings as well as resetting the complete iphone. Nothing helped.

I've hoped ios 8.1.1 would solve this issue. But it doesn't. This is really annoying.

Everything in the house is working that isn't using the latest 8.1.1 version, I only updated my phone to 8.1.1 because I wanted to make sure it worked fine. The Wi-Fi worked great with 8.1 so restoring my iPhone or rebooting a router doesn't seem like a plausible solution, considering rebooting my iPhone every time fixes it for a day or two.

Just the basic troubleshooting, which provides a temporary fix, if at all. I have done every reset possible, and the only thing that works for me is to turn cellular data completely off in Settings when I am connected to a wifi network. Otherwise, it drops all the time. This never happened to me on my iphone 5 with ios 7. I think ios 8 is the problem, which has still not be resolved for many people. Unfortunately, I am very close to dumping the iphone 6 and going to a Samsung galaxy. I hate to do it, but this is a terrible problem to deal with daily. Constantly changing settings is very inconvenient.
