iPhone 6 signal doesn't work iOS 8.1.1

My iPhone 6 iOS 8.1.1 shows network but no signal dots - can't call or receive. I'm in giffgaff and got an iPhone 6 on o2 a while ago. It was all working fine till few nights ago where Ive noticed that there was no dots at the signal range although the internet worked, just couldn't receive or send calls or text. I just checked the car on my old iPhone 5 and it works fine. Also I considered that it might be an issue with the actual sim card as its been "chopped" by an phone shop to fit the iphone bracket few years back, but never had an issue in 2 year usage on the iphone 5.

Advice?

I also have the exact same problem since updating to iOS 8.1.1

Everything was working fine before, then I updated and now I have no signal dots and cannot make or receive calls or texts, however 3G/4G internet still seems to work. I have tried doing a restore but this has not helped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Updated to iOS 8.1.2... still no signal! Apple should change their priorities as fixing "ringtone purchase issue" shouldn't come before service issues!

I Tried updating to 8.1.2 also but that did not help. I even reset all settings and erased all data to restore to factory default settings and tried sim cards from 3 different networks but none of them could get a signal.

Sent it back to Apple this morning for repair so I'm currently writing this on my old iphone 4 😟

Did anyone resolve this issue as I have got the same problem now on giffgaff. Im on ios 8.1.2 and sim works fine in other phones.

hey there. Had the same problem and this worked for me.

-update IOS to 8.1.3

-goto settings and go to General: then Reset, click on 'Reset All Settings', not any other link, this resets settings back to factory settings without erasing your apps, contacts, data etc.

Issue is still here!!! iPhone 6 still bricked!! only used it for a month since it came out! I tried all apple updates and all their "solutions". problem still here. iphone has been reported broken and been posted today.

will keep updated!

HHey Kaliii this same problem happened to me is this a issue that Apple are aware of i can get data and wifi works perfectly well but no signal dots again did they replace your handset no problems yeah ??

You mentioned a new sim did not help as I have just ordered a new 4g ready sim I think it could be a trip to Apple store for me as well they hopefully will replace as I only activated it on Friday 20th February so well within warranty ??
