With regard to this problem has anyone checked their console messages when it happens I found this:

For those who don't know what the CEPHtmlEngine is it's part of CC and is called the Common Extensibility Platform its an extension and part of the CC install. Se this link for more info: http://www.dehats.com/drupal/node/122
It appears that quite a few Adobe apps are generating spin dumps not only that but are creating a wealth of console messages during normal use. I must say that Adobe seem to be losing the plot with their softwares. I have the majority of the CC apps installed as I use quite a few of them on a regular basis however just looking over the console recently and the amount of messages which seem to indicate failures or dumps or squashed processes etc etc is staggering.
Not sure if this is a result of Yosemite install or just a problem with Adobe apps in general or a problem with upgraded OS installs rather than fresh installs. I'm sure that some of these reports do cause system slowdowns especially the spin dumps which cause a slight pause (a few seconds beachball) within the app before it continues with whatever command you initiated.
I'd like to hear if there is a fix for this other than the application frame one, as I hate the app frame and can't fathom the need for full screen apps especially when you need to be able to drag and drop from the desktop/finder windows/other apps?? It kind of cuts out a level of ease which took decades to implement properly within the OS and apps. Anyway enough of my gripes anyone got a fix yet?
