i want to install ios 8 to my iphone 4. how can i update

I have two iPhone 4..but one can download some apps that's the next one cannot download .... And they have the same version so what causes that...

The one that won't download apps is out of memory? What version are they running? How much available memory does each have?

When I go on AppStore an the next one to download Instagram they say the app is only use an a ios 8...... The version is 7.1.2 an both of them

When you go to Settings>General>About, what do you see for the model number for each phone?

The iPhone 4 doesn't have hardware that can run anything beyond iOS 7.1.2.

I think this has turned into a joke thread where people just post that they want iOS 8 i their iPhone 4s for amusement.

They can have IOS 8 on an iPhone 4s if that is what they want, its the iPhone 4 that cant be upgraded beyond IOS 7.1.2
