Can't download Yosemite, Get button not working
Trying to update to Yosemite but the Get button is not responding. It stays grey and I don't get the green Install App.
I'm trying to update from the last version of Snow Leopard.

I can confirm this, mine started downloading now as well and everything is seemingly in order. 🙂 Will report back after work.
Wonderful! AppStore seems to be working again, the "get" button responds on my old computer running Snow Leopard.
I installed Yosemite yesterday through a MBP that was already running it. That worked fine too.
Glad to hear its working again for everybody. Have fun!
Sounds like people are having success now, but just in case there are more issue, I spoke w/ Apple support today, and this is what they told me to do:
Shut down your computer. Restart your computer while pressing and holding down 'shift' key to start computer in "safe boot" mode. After a few seconds, a gray screen with the apple logo, 'working' circle bar thing (don't know what it is called), and a progress bar will appear; you can let go of the shift key when this happens. After the computer boots up, you'll need to enter your Apple user account password.
With my computer in safe boot mode, I was able to open the App Store, find Yosemite, and it started downloading. This time, it started downloading immediately instead of the button being grayed out. I'm still in the process of downloading, so no feedback yet as to whether this all ends successfully.
Clicked on it today, downloaded, installed, and running like it should. Apple must have finally fixed the problem. I never restarted or shut down the machine, no logging in or out of the app store, just finally worked for the first time in several days. Hope all is well for everyone else, and thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas.
Yup it`s working perfectly now.
Mine too was stuck until I read this post. I had no luck restarting until I simply went to the "Purchases" tab on my 10.6.8 App Store.
It gave me the option of downloading again and it worked!
Thanks for the help team.
Piece of advice. DONT DO IT!. Worst mac operating system Ive ever used, and I been on them about 13 years.
Absolutely hideous. Why can't they have issues ironed out before they inflict it on us. I always, always wait till around .5 or .6, but for some reason I stupidly installed this monstrosity.
Having lots of problems with it, from small things like my keyboard settings reverting to US and taking UK keyboard settings away, rarely reboots properly, gets stuck on a spinning icon with a black screen. Takes ages to boot sometimes. Wont recognise my SxS cards, though I have the drivers installed and it worked last night. Now it won't recognise my cards again... Is absolutely ridiculous. I suppose if I was macs new target audience of a consumer rather than a professional user it wouldn't be such an issue, but if you need to be capturing video from SxS cards or anything that professionals, who helped build the company, forget it. This company now wants nothing to do with us it seems. Realised that with the whole Final Cut Pro debacle and it only gets worse and worse. Makes business sense I suppose but I hate apple more and more by the day...
