How can I delete FaceTime recent calls on OS X Yosemite?

How can I delete all FaceTime recent calls on OS X Yosemite?

Right clicking and removing one by one, only?

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10)

I'm also using 10.11.2, and it took about 12 times of right-clicking on that tiny space beneath the search box and selecting "Remove All Recents" before my list was totally emptied. A few times, FaceTime went to 100% CPU and Console reported spin dumps being created. It seems like if you have a really large list, it isn't able to really remove all entries. That is probably why the control is hidden from view, it doesn't really work as Apple intended, yet.

Im sure you have figured this out by now but this is mainly for anyone like me who is new to using mac books and doesn't know how to delete a call from face time like I didn't so here is what I did. Highlight the name you want to delete from face time and push the delete button on your key board. Thats all problem solved.

The Apple Help menus says:

"You can clear the lists of FaceTime video and audio calls you made or received. Click Video or Audio.Control-click the blank portion of the call list, then click “Remove all Recents.”
This clears the list you’re viewing.

In fact I find that control-clicking the “blank portion of the call list” (a rather unspecific location) only occasionally reveals the “remove all recents” option. Mostly, nothing happens. (This is in El Capitan 10.11.2)

I ran across this when I turned on iCloud on a new El Capitan machine and it pulled FaceTime calls from my phone.

I also clicked and clicked and could not get the "remove all recents" to appear. My recent calls was completely full and there was no space.

Scrolling the mouse up and down, I noticed if I pushed it up to the top, it would expand the space between the search window and the call list.

Now it's a little tricky, but it works consistently.

- Push the scroll bar all the way to the top. When you do, you will see the space between below the search window get a little bit bigger.

- At the same time you have the scroll bar pushed up, Control+Click in the space and "Remove all Recents" will appear and the box will be highlighted. (I'm using a touch pad, if you're using a mouse, you can right click but you have to pretty fast, so a control click might work better)

- select remove all recents

If they come back, I found that it was not the ones I deleted that came back, but rather just additional calls. For me, it was 4 screens before I finally got to the end of the call list.
