HI my Remote app to appletv is sort of "flicking" om ny iPhone. And i have to restart it arter a short time. I Have tride to reinstall it.
Yes, I'm not disputing a difference between the older and newer version, it's you that seems to think that it's the update that's responsible for things not working rather than your set up, which is what looks to be the case when you consider that 99% of users aren't having a problem (% quoted for demonstration purposes only)
As with my reply to the previous person, what I'm saying is I think it's your set up that has caused the problem.
Ok but what in my setup? My N300 netgear router?

was that keep me occupied for some time ;-) ... can't see what any of it can help, but have opened port 123, 3689, 5353 on the router. without result. My router setup is very standard, can't see what else would be wrong with the router. so there should indeed be more with the same problem, as you say yourself.
I just notisted that if the Appletv is in sleepmode, and i open the active Remote app. It ofcurse starts looping. But it still turns on the Appletv.. If you Can use that info.
I'm not likely to be able suggest anything more than I have. My aim was to point out that this isn't a widespread issue and therefore likely something unusual on your set up. As a result, changing something on that set up (trial & error) may resolve your problem, but also that because of this, you couldn't really rely on the next update to this app to resolve the problem.
Thats ok. But ther's noting unusual abaut my ssetup.
I Guess the nomenclature isn't too important, but you and I have the same app and the same Apple TV with the same Apple TV software, it's just the bit in between that's different.
problem solved, Home Sharing was aperently not enabled. but had done so in the setup, so i don't understand
