Sound settings keep resetting on restart since Yosemite

Hi guys, this began happening after "upgrading" to Yosemite. I am not sure what is causing this issue but my sound settings keep getting reset after I shut down the computer and restart it. First it was going from my internal speakers to a "Soundflower" and "Soundflower 2ch" which I did not install and was not sure how they got there. I had to manually open my Sound Preferences and reset it. I was able to delete the soundflower extension and the problem went away.

NOW, my sounds keeps defaulting to either of my Apple TVs which were never on the Sound output settings before. I have no idea what keeps causing this bug to occur. It is very annoying to have to manually change the settings every time I turn on my computer; this never happened until Yosemite. I have reset the PRAM and have done a permissions repair. I am not sure what else I could try. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, how was it fixed? I appreciate all your help in this matter. Thanks!

Hi Linc,

Thanks so much for your help. This worked for a little bit then the random "Soundflower" installed itself again and took the sound as default. I am not sure how this keeps happening. I dragged those extensions to the trash but now my sounds keeps defaulting to either of my Apple TVs everytime I restart the computer. For some reason the sound preferences are NOT being saved...it's driving me insane.
