Gosh I am so sorry for the trouble I have caused and for the delay in answering due to illness at home.
I am from the UK and we have free calls under 0800 calls. The reason I asked this question above is due to a telephone bill I got and a query on time used on calls, as this would change my contract with the telephone company. I asked if 0800 numbers were also added to the time used as this would make a difference, but I was not able to see those calls on my bill. The operator said yes these calls time would be added to the total duration of calls but there was no sign of any 0800 numbers used. She said that sometimes they are listed under another number? I find this weird, but as I have been getting help from Apple for problems with my laptop for quite long periods of time, I needed to know what number they would use and if I had been charged for this help by charging for the time, when I was under the impression I was getting it free under my extended warranty.
I have no reason to get upset with the help and support I got and still get from Apple as they are brilliant. I needed to know why those calls were not listed under 0800 when I called for their help under those numbers.
Thank you for all your time in this matter, tho probably not important to you, but I need to know. Carole UK (72)
