my iphone 6 is typing and opening apps by itself. How do i fix this. I just bought it last week.
iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.2

If you just bought it last week the most I'd do is reset the phone by holding both the home button and sleep button at the same time for 10 seconds or so until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose any data. You could also try restoring the phone but since it's brand new I'd just take it back to where you bought it and tell them it's not working properly. They'll likely just give you a new one. If you do want to restore it follow these instructions: Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

Had the same problem, tried all the restores.. even restore from dfu mode. Nothing helped so I Ordered a replacement screen and digitizer off eBay . Now it works perfect.
temporary fix is rotating the screen. Will sort out the problem for a few minutes
