beats pill not charging anymore

I got a beats pill 2.0 for christmas and its been good so far, but now the LED light that shows if its charging stays red and doesn't turn green. (Note: it did turn green in the first week of having it.) Ive had it plugged in with the cord it came with for days and every time i unplug it, it just dies on me and won't turn on. i've reset it twice and cannot update it because it needs to have over 20% battery charge, which it's not getting. Please help me, this is soo annoying

bmiraflo, last night after getting totally annoyed and frustrated, I began searching the web for any information regarding my (our) issues. I stumbled upon a youtube video that said "In this video I'm going to show you how to charge your beats pill if it's having issues." It was posted on July 25, 2014. I followed the directions in the video and now my Pill seems to be working fine. It's only been 8 hours or so, but I can turn it on, play music, turn it off and a few minutes later do the same thing without any problems. Seems like a silly fix, but if it works, so be it. I still can't connect to the Beats Updater, but as long as the Pill is working I'm Happy. Not totally satisfied, but Happy. Here's a link to the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldENC8xekWs Let me know if this works for you....

I have replaced mine twice... you can send it back under warranty for it to be replaced. Also, I have determined that the unit dies when you use a charging cable / wall plug that is other than the one provided. I have used other micro-usb chargers (i.e. using a micro-usb cable with an ipad wall plug) and after use it has stopped working. With my third one I have stuck to using the included charger and I've never had a problem. I hope this helps. I would ask for replacement. Also, I believe this is only with the original beatspill. Good luck!

Same issue with mine. Bought as xmas present for year old and only option is to pay $99 ransom for refurbished beats pill - but based on this forum, no reason to expect this to work either. Apple looking a lot more like Microsoft. Had a similar experience with an iPhone 6+ they wouldn't stand by (something inside the phone bends when carried in a pocket).

I had the same problem last week.

I was doing my morning routine, when i was about to turn my beats pill 2.0 on. Strangely it did not respond to me, so i thought the battery was out then i plugged it in. However, I notice something peculiar the battery level of the beats in my iPhone was 100%. When I plugged out the beats, it suddenly turned off. As if the Beats had no battery.

I was so desperate then I contacted the Apple Store nearby my location, but the warranty was over by 1 month.

So I just left it for almost 3 days playing music with the Beats plugged, suddenly this morning the charger indicator turned Green, and the Beats worked fine again without the need of plugging in.

This is weird, how about you try what I did?

I don't understand this either... My Beats Pill+ has been having the same problem and will not charge past 29% and among that, when I unplug the ****** device, it simply just turns off or "dies" altogether... so frustrating and i need an answer or full compensation or some kind of reimbursement of the sort because I did not pay $230 for a over-sized paperweight.
