MacBooster or Something Else ?

I have a 2011 Imac 27 Intel. I have been doing quite a bit in iMovie, making videos with photos for the family.

Lately I have seen my Mac struggling to keep up, iMovie crashes occasionally, and pages are slow loading and scrolling on Safari, and even iPhoto drags around like a sick whore. This Mac is a little sick.

I did the free scan with MacBooster, and it found some problems right off the bat.

Of course like other software companies, they want money to zactually fix anything, if they even do at all.

My question is: Should I cough up the $40.00 or is there something better?

If I have to buy it, I might as well get the best.

Oh, and please don't say ..... MacKeeper. I tried that whe I first got my Mac, and it took a year to figure out how to get that off my Mac.

iMac, 10.10.1

Everything on YouTube is copyrighted. The copyright holders decide whether to allow their content to be downloaded as well as streamed. Those who choose to allow downloading can place a "Download" link on the content page. It's safe to use that link. If the link isn't there, saving the content as a file for re-use is copyright infringement.

Leaving aside the moral and legal issues, installing any software that helps you to infringe copyright, or to do anything else illegal, is a likely way to become infected with malware. That has already happened to you once, in a minor way. Much worse things can happen if you're not careful about installing software.
