How to Skype with OS X 10.6.8?

Hi Apfelmuseins, it works, but you just end up on the Skype website, where you have to install a plugin, which needs Mac 10.9.!!!?

Any solution for that?

Since my last post I tried a Skype video call and it worked fine. I also checked my Skype version in my downloads and it is 6.15.0.335 with the plist string changed to 7.58.501

I tried all of that and none of the contacts are there. They are in the web version, but not the app.
