Network connection was reset

We have been using itunes for some time now, but all of a sudden we get this message, " Itunes could not connect to the itunes store. The network connection was reset." We've looked on this site, but can't find the message or the solution. Actually, we don't have any idea to the meaning of the message let alone considering the solution! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last weekend could access and download from ITunes no problem after weeks of not being able to. I also use HughesNet Yesterday was able to access ITunes...purchase a song and after a few moments of downloading the song got the same error message as everyone above hence the song never got finished downloading. Funny thing is....got the bill for the song today in my email.

my 2 cents.. since i'm back in malaysia using streamyx i have the same problem as mentioned above: "network connection was reset"

a hint from apple on their iTunes Store support page suggests: "...your ISP may be blocking access to the iTunes Store. Let your ISP know about this document ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106439) which can help them configure their servers to allow iTunes Store traffic through."

has anybody already confronted streamyx with this paper? what was their answer? could streamyx verify that they are not blocking access to the iTunes Store?
