I recently got a Macbook Pro, which came with an updated version of GarageBand(the newest version). Now i want to change a pitch(tonality) of a song? Could someone help me?

What kind of song? Is it an audio file or a GarageBand project?
GarageBand 10 does no longer support transposing audio files.
You can convert your audio file to a loop or use the AuPitch filter.
To transpose using the AuPitch filter:

This may be caused by the song not starting with a perfect silence. Try a fade in by adding a volume automation curve.

It is probably not a bug, but a problem with the second recording of the second song. Do you slither the crackling noise, if you cut off the first few seconds and cut at a moment of perfect silence?
Now,i noticed very strange bug, this crackling noise is everytime i stop and play the song,in the beginning there is the crackling noise,than when i stop it and play it again there is also this crackling noise for 1 second and the plays normal.
Sorry, I never had this happen. I hope someone who has experienced this will chime in.
Same issue. I just downloaded 10.1.0 and every time signal from piano, organ, etc. goes into garageband a crackle is heard. I can hear it in the speakers as well as in headphones. Maddening. I've never used the pitch feature in previous versions (or this one, for that matter). Any idea what is causing this? I hear it in playback as well.
I tried this, but the crackle remains, fyi.
