Are any of you having this problem??
I have the ios 6 plus and I can open a text message find and read all of the messages, however I must have done a swipe of the finger or something different that what I usually do...but I can not respond...the text box is not showing up. Can anyone help me out with how I can fix this?

This happens to me several times a week and Resetting my phone is a total hassle!

Problem solved TEMPORARILY. APPLE needs to fix this problem, because this issue continues to occur.
This is happening to me almost daily! Is there a fix other than rebooting?

I have this recurring problem also on my 8plus/iOS 11.2.5. Yes, reseting/turning it off and back on works, the last two times i've double tapped the home button and cleared out history, swipe upward and closing out history in safari. then went back into text and the dialog box was there.
