Can I connect a wired keyboard to my iPhone 5S while stuck on the lock screen? (Need answers ASAP)

My iPhone's screen is unusable/broken on the right side of it so I can't enter the passcode on it and I can't access the Notification Center or the Control Center. Touch ID and Siri is disabled until I can enter the passcode and iTunes won't let me back it up until I enter the passcode. I have a replacement iPhone 5S here, but I want to restore it with the backup so I don't lose all of my stuff.

I was wondering if anyone knows if I can connect a wired keyboard to my iPhone while on the lock screen before I go and spend the money on one?

Unless anyone knows anything else I can try?

so it pairs even without pressing pair on your iphone? i currently have the same problem to and i dont know what to do, im running out of options 😟

this doesn't help when it asks you to "respond to your iphone". Since it was powered off it wants the passcode entered before iTunes will recognize it in the menu you are describing.
