Thank You for your feed back, I did read about Trim and Trim Enabler at the end in conclusion and after seeing some performance with Trim or not to Trim I feel it is a waste of time and since it is not supported by Apple it would really put your whole system in peril particularly in Yosemite with lock ups and what have you.
I see that your using the new EVO 850 even as a boot drive you are not having any problems going from Maverick to Yosemite.. If I have OEM Apple in my boot drive I should expect no problems at all as for my external EVO 840 thru Thunderbolt connection I should not have any either because I don't and will not install any Trim Enabler, as you say even doing video editing as a Media drive it will have plenty of down time to do its Garbage Cleaning chores. Correct me if I am wrong on any of this.
