Slow WiFi issues after 10.10.2

I seem to have much much slower WiFi connectivity after the 10.10.2 update on my 2014 MBP 2.8?

It was a bit unreliable before, as it used to drop out quite often, but I was getting 35-40 Mbps average on WiFi,even though I use it in CLAMSHELL mode mostly.(Whilst using Ethernet via Thunderbolt I'd get 95 Mbps to give you some idea of what is possible)

But NOW it's almost unusable, it just lags as if it's connected to a 1 Mbps service...

In fact I've just tested it and it's worse that that!

How on earth have Apple made this happen?

Anyone else have the same issues?

This has worked for me so far. Mine has been plagues since Yosemite was first released. At each new patch I found a difference workaround but it was never the same thing twice. What a piece of crap. Thank you for this fix though, made my day!

Well the update to 10.10.2 has not only affected my Macbook pro, but any other devices on WiFi in the house while my MacBook pro is switched on. I shall see if I can roll back to version 7.0 or I'm going to be a very unpopular housemate!!!!

Mine is iMac late 2013, wifi was working fine in 10.10.1, yes, no problem at all for the last 2 months until upgraded to 10.10.2.

Restored the v7.0 driver since 4 days ago, everything is working as expected, no disconnection no signal lost.

Apple software quality is dropping very obvious.

Thanks for posting the driver. I tried this on my Late 2012 MacBook Air 11" but the driver didn't work.

Strangely, after I installed this wrong version of the driver, and restarted, the wifi didn't work at all, so I restored the driver that used to be there (the existing 7.1) and restarted, and the issue fixed itself.

Hey man , can u please tell me how can i make a backup for the version 7.1 file and how can i paste or replace the old file the version 7.0 and which file should i paste cause the attached file u uploaded contains lots of folders cause the file open as a zip folder; which has lots of folders . p.s i'm a new mac user * help would be appreciated , thx in advance
