AppleID Locked How to reset iPad

Corporate iPad. AppleID is locked. Employee gone and have no answers to security questions. Apple Support will not unlock Apple ID.

How do I reset the iPad with a new Apple ID?

As with many things, abuse most likely caused the law. Consider a company withholding a $1000 2-week paycheck because a $20 uniform was not returned.

Thank you everybody. Am now in a wait mode while Apple decides whether a plain text copy of the sales receipt will be sufficient proof of ownership.

Besides venting let this be a warning:

MAKE COPIES OF YOUR RECEIPTs of all Apple products. Put them in multiple places. Keep one with the device. Or you may end up with a very expensive trivet.

Apple denies your warranty because you don't have your receipt...

Apple has a record of the sale based on the serial number of the device. This record of the sale will include the name of the original purchaser. Prove you are that person and Apple can reset the Apple ID.
