iPhone dropping internet connection after iOS 8.1.3 update?

after updating my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.1.3 it worked fine for a few hours, then when I went to watch YouTube it wouldn't load so I went to safari to see if it was just YouTube but safari couldn't load any webpages either, so I just turned my phone off and back on and it was working again. It's been doing this everyday since the update, and it's never done this before. It's not dropping the connection to wifi. Is anyone else having this issue and how did you solve it?

I also have this issue. I have an iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3, and internet connectivity is sporadically lost but can be restored with reboot. I had this probably with my iPhone 6 on iOS 8.1.2 as well. I rebuilt the phone from factory reset and still the problem persisted. Apple gave me a new replacement phone a few weeks ago suspecting a hardware defect, but the problem has cropped up again with the new iphone. As with Jr Mack, this is NOT a wifi connection problem - wifi symbol shows full signal, only internet connectivity is lost. I don't have any internet connectivity problems with iPad 2 on iOS 8.1.3 on same wifi network, so it doesn't seem to be a router issue.

Any suggestions from the experts? It's a pain to routinely have to reboot the iPhone to access the internet. Are there any apps that are know to destabilize internet connectivity? (I only have apps from the Apple App Store)

I have 2 devices with iOS 8.1.3 that are dead and will not take a charge or turn on iPad mini and iPhone 5s. The iPad was dead and on charge but would never come back on, then i let my iPhone 5s die, i plugged it up and will not come on or take a charge either. Have case number on both with apple care and appointment with Apple Store in 2 days. We will see what they say, i would revert back my iOS and don't let your devices battery run completely dead!

I have this problem, too. My iPhone 6 will be connected to the internet and then out of the blue loses the ability to connect. This happens whether at home on wi-fi or outside on cellular data. It doesn't matter that the wi-fi or cellular data signals are full strength. With wi-fi, the phone says it is connected to my home network, but is unable to connect to internet via Safari, or any of my internet dependent apps. Like Jr Mack, if I power off the phone and turn it back on, internet connectivity returns. Please fix this Apple.

It appears Apple has changed their wireless WiFi syncing; I've discovered while attempting to sync iTunes wireless as I have been accustom to that now under Settings - General the instructions read that it will "Automatically sync with iTunes on your computer when your iPhone is plugged in to power and connected to the WiFi". I've learned that actually means I have to plug in to the power cord and in to the desktop to sync - it's not longer wireless.

Congratulations Apple you've become a most vexing smartphone.

I was facing the same issues with the wifi dropping at office and even at home. Went to Apple store after troubleshooting with Apple Support over the phone for an hour. Tried all the steps i could think of including Network Settings Reset and that didn't helped. Went to store and they swapped the device and haven't updated the new device with 8.1.3 yet. Seems to be an issue with IOS 8.1.3 because it is working fine with IOS 8.1.1 as of now. I hope Apple does something quickly to fix it ASAP.

I'm in the same situation. I bought a brand new iphone 6 at I store in Portugal. The wi fi connection worked fine for few days but now the devive still connected on network with no internet signal. I've reseted the network configs and nothing happend. I've reseted the iphone to factory config and the problem still working. Sometimes the connection lasts for two, or three minutes and drops again. Another devices like androids and notebooks works fine. What can I do? HEY APPLE, FIX IT!!!
