Siri not working with earbud mic

Hello all,

I have had two iPhone 6 phones with the same issue. Siri works just fine without the headphones in - however siri is not detecting my voice. I can use it on calls without a problem and when I talking into my phone with the headphones attached. I've reset the phone and tried it with factory defaults and when I restored my phone. Again this happeded with two iphone 6's. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks in advance!

I've got it figured out. I first reset the network settings. Then, when I pressed AND HELD the button on the earbud it did not work. However when I pressed the button and let go after Siri asked me what I wanted it worked!

So in conclusion I'm not sure the network settings reset worked or not. it might have been the way I was trunk to use Siri by holding the mic button too long.

Thanks for all for your help!

Since I updated 8.1.2 Siri and iMessage stop hearing me out Also can't do speaker talk on Facebook Viber calls I have to put phone to my ear. On other hand I can use speaker phone via telephone calls. I reset and restore and did not help. However when you put headphones on with mic Siri hears you fine and on Bluetooth in your car works fine. Whatever file you update Apple while updating files IOS 8.1.1 please roll back. Cant use Siri or VoIP service via speaker phone

if you have same problem do not reset or restore as new phone blah blah it Won't change anything!

you don't believe me go ahead waste few hours of your time
