Calendar issue with the new iphone 6 plus

I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing a problem with the default iphone calendar for iphone 6 plus? I have consulted with apple's tech specialist both in store and online and they can't seem to figure out what's wrong. They have apparently forwarded the issue to the engineers. As everyone may know, dots appear under the date if you have added an event to the specific calendar date then the elaboration of the specific event appears on the bottom linear view. What i have been experiencing on my iphone 6 plus is that the dots disappear as i scroll further and further down to future months and when i do scroll back up the dots also randomly disappears with past months/events. The elaborated event in the linear view is still there, however, when u highlight the date. Why is that? We've already rebooted my phone, checked all possible settings issue, unsync then resynced it to icloud, resigned to icloud, reset all settings and even changed to a new phone (thinking it was a hardware defect) but the dots were still disappearing even with the new device. I even turned off icloud on all my devices and just used the usb cord to sync it from imac to iphone! This nightmare is still happening even without icloud! However, it doesn't do that to my iphone 5! All dots with corresponding events appear on all weeks/months on my iphone 5 calendar.

Hopefully, someone is experiencing the same issue with their default calendar on the new iphone 6 plus. I tried my best to describe the issue, so i hope this made sense.

Did anybody ever figure this out? My iphone SE model hasn't worked since I bought it in September 206. Sometimes it won't highlight the dates with the standard black dot when you put your finger on it. If you hold your finger for a long time, it will eventually highlight it. Very annoying. I bet it's the screen but have no idea. Thanks, Dan

Someone said it right. Why is there not a single comment from apple? I had no such problems before and we bought two iphone SEs at the same time. One of us has a problem, the other doesn't. When something like that happens, it makes me feel there is a hardware problem that Apple is not admitting as some phones have the problem and others don't. Mine had it from day one. That means a recall and fixes which someone doesn't want to do. I've had iphones since the beginning. This is the first one that isn't worth having. My main reason for using the phone is the calendar. When I go to put my finger on a date and no black dot shows, it's time consuming and annoying and not something any of us should be calling just a "glitch." It's a major failing. The other partial fix is to scroll way ahead and come back. Thanks for your help.

Software updates do nothing for it if it is a hardware problem, bet it's screen responsiveness to touch. I'm having them replace my phone. So should everyone else. Show me on the new phone that it keeps doing it and I'll call it software. Don't believe it is.

I have exactly the same issue, I agree to a meeting and then realise that there was already something in my diary but because there was no dot i assumed it was clear!!

My solution was to use another calendar app. Spending $5.00 to get something that works seems like a trivial expense.

M glad I'm not the only one experiencing this! Because when i spoke to apple techs it sounded like mine was an isolated case as they have not heard any complaints about this! I'll post something on this thread once apple techs have figured it out and get back to me! They initially put my icloud account on troubleshooting mode so they can look into it, however, it wasn't an icloud issue....so, they have yet to firgure it out! I have already sent them screenshots of what my calendar was doing to my phone.

So the dots were also randomly disappearing on your default calendar? i am temporarily using tempo as my alternate calendar for now, but i would much rather prefer the default one that comes with the phone.

Same problem here. One pragmatic solution is to create a dummy schedule at today's date and suddenly the missing dots appears.

Rondesign - the dummy calendar solution does not work for me. The dots are inconsistent, sometimes appearing, sometimes not. Rotating the phone to landscape seems to help sometimes but not always.

I have an iPhone 6s plus running iOS 9.1. I'm having the same issues. I'm guessing everyone is still having issues and this hasn't been resolved?

I've tried everything it seems and nothing works permanently. My wife has an iPhone 6s and seems to work fine. I'm betting it's only an issue with the plus models.
