Calendar issue with the new iphone 6 plus

I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing a problem with the default iphone calendar for iphone 6 plus? I have consulted with apple's tech specialist both in store and online and they can't seem to figure out what's wrong. They have apparently forwarded the issue to the engineers. As everyone may know, dots appear under the date if you have added an event to the specific calendar date then the elaboration of the specific event appears on the bottom linear view. What i have been experiencing on my iphone 6 plus is that the dots disappear as i scroll further and further down to future months and when i do scroll back up the dots also randomly disappears with past months/events. The elaborated event in the linear view is still there, however, when u highlight the date. Why is that? We've already rebooted my phone, checked all possible settings issue, unsync then resynced it to icloud, resigned to icloud, reset all settings and even changed to a new phone (thinking it was a hardware defect) but the dots were still disappearing even with the new device. I even turned off icloud on all my devices and just used the usb cord to sync it from imac to iphone! This nightmare is still happening even without icloud! However, it doesn't do that to my iphone 5! All dots with corresponding events appear on all weeks/months on my iphone 5 calendar.

Hopefully, someone is experiencing the same issue with their default calendar on the new iphone 6 plus. I tried my best to describe the issue, so i hope this made sense.

That is not the only calendar problem with the iPhone 6 plus. I have alert problems where two separate alerts cannot be set as they continue to duplicate or mimic each other. I set one at 1 hour before and the second at 15 minutes before and the first alert automatically ALSO changes to 15 minutes before so they continually end up to be the same times. So I continue to try to change it and it keeps doing the same thing. Does not always happen. Occurs whether or not I use the "edit" button or not in the event. Occurs about 50 % of the time. The other 50% it works fine. APPLE TECH'S ALWAYS SEEM TO MAKE ME FEEL AS IF IT IS ISOLATED AND DOES NOT HAPPEN THAT IT IS ME ONLY. The calendar has a lot more problems than they think, CALENDAR NEEDS TO BE RE DONE TO GET OUT THE BUGS. BUT THIS IS NOT THE ONLY CALENDAR problem I have. I have been using apple phones for about 3 year and never had these problems so it is not the user

There are a LOT MORE problems with the calendar and the iPhone 6 plus in general than just dots in the calendar. Apple Tech Supervisors don't even know what is going on. I have reported a lot of problems just with the calendar and no call back after speaking directly with a Supervisor. My guess is they have no idea how to fix it because NO progress has been made. I still have problems with this phone

Correct: It did NOT happen with my 5C at ALL. A soon as I got my 6S+ in January 20169 BAM! This seems to me to be a MAJOR issue as far as the calendar goes, and I'm surprised I didn't find much on the WEB or APPLE's site about it, except for this post (so thanks!). What do we need to do to keep the pressure on APPLE to get this addressed and resolved? Thoughts? Comments?

The dot disappearing seems to be happening in month view with detail mode. If you turn off the month view detail option by clicking the month view detail button so it is not red/enabled the calendar seems to get the dots right when scrolling the months. Another trick that seems to work if you want to stay in month with detail mode is to turn the phone sideways. When you do that the dots do show up - but the funny thing is it takes like a second for them to show up for each month your scroll to. Quirky calendar!

My wife's iPhone 6 plus calendar entries just disappeared. The

calendar is still there. The only entries are holidays and birthdays.

Her photo stream also is gone. The phone has been backed up

about 400 times. The note at settings / icloud / backup says that

the phone has never been backed up. My wife is devastated. Apple

claims that "...engineers are working on the problem " Agent answering

the phone claims that she never heard of this problem. Surely Apple has

redundant backups.

I hope they get this resolved soon. I have not had problems with my photos, and hope that will not also become an issue as one person here did, but the dots disappearing is irritating and needs to be fixed.....I booked an event on a day that there was no dot appearing, and once I went to go put the data on for that event, when I tapped on that date, I saw that there was already something booked for that date!!! No, dot was there for me to recognize that an event was already scheduled...

This is the first time I bought an iphone and I hope I didn't make a mistake!!!

Why does no one ever comment on this from Apple? I have been going back and forth with Apple since October 2015 on this "disappearing dot" thing. Countless hours on the phone. 3 different so called senior advisors. Engineers who claim there is no problem. WTH! I've sent you video of the issue. Video taken at two Apple Stores of your very own display phones showing it's a problem. Video from Best Buy display phones showing this. Video from an AT&T Store display phone doing this. Video of my wife's and mine phone doing it. Apple Store employees have seen it first hand and were amazed. What more can I do? Who can I contact? Some of the Apple phone support people are just, well. Why hasn't any of the Apple geek sites, etc. discussed this?

I'm having this problem too, and so very glad it's not just me. You spend a small fortune on a new iPhone, and then have to waste hours on problems that the Genius people can't fix... It certainly sounds like it is an operating system issue. How do we get this to the attention of Apple programmers for the next software update? I tried to login to the "bug reporter" but it seems that this is only for developers...

I think I have a partial "fix". It's not great, but it seems to work. When you go to any month on your iPhone 6S, if there are no dots, just tilt the phone to its horizontal position and then return to vertical position. Takes about a second. When I do that, all of my appointment dots appear for the month. It's annoying, and a lousy fix, but fairly "quick and dirty". Hopefully Apple will pernanently fix this.

Does anyone know if it is still a problem with the new iOS 9.3.3?
